Q: Severe, your working on some new music, is it for an upcoming album?
SEVERE: Yeah, I just released a new single "I'm So Chi" check in out on youtube and my 3rd LP entitled "Determination," is now online see the buy cd tab on my home page. I wrote over 40 songs that are all bangers. I'm just deciding which material to release first. Q: Did you collaborate with someone with any of the tracks?
SEVERE: Yeah I did a couple of collaborations one with Reese from 3Piece on the remix of "Gurl Of My Dreams" Severe featuring Reese. Also most recent collaboration with AK from Do Or Die “Imagine Dat” Severe featuring AK.

Q: The last time we interviewed you for HustleFilms we featured your track on “Paradise Chicago” the movie, and you were talking to us about your goals for the future. Recently you talked to me about some of the new things that’s been happening to you. Can you elaborate on what’s going on and what you’re planning to do?
SEVERE: Well besides the fact that I just did a song featuring Do Or Die entitled "Imagine Dat" as well as doing an opening act for them. To make a long story short. I received an email through my Myspace from some cat claiming to be the promoter from Lil Wayne's "I Am Tour" and told me that they had viewed my material and wanted me to open up for Lil Wayne and T-Pain in Nashville Tennessee and in Chicago. I quickly jumped on the opportunity and began to investigate upcoming show performances. I contacted Ticket Master and they confirmed the show dates.
Now that I'm getting some recognition, it's time to drop the album on Amazon.com, I-Tunes, local stores, the whole nine yards.

Q: How hard was it to get to this point in your career?
SEVERE: In the entertainment business you have to have the determination of a bull. There's going to be a sh*t load of obstacles in your way. Everything from scam artist to people telling you your wasting your time on a pipe dream. Unfortunately the biggest obstacles you'll find is yourself. When the road gets a little hard and your dreams seem further away, that's when you got to get up and push harder. If not you'll end up as your worse critic and enemy. You'll start believing what people say about you and quit. You don't want to get in your own way when your trying to succeed.

Q: Besides yourself, is it hard dealing with other people’s negativity towards what you do?
SEVERE: If your with me, I got you. If your against me, I'll run through you.
